The Hur & Company review workflow starts with a basic understanding of the data. We begin each review with a planning session to determine the best strategy, budget, and timeline for the case at hand. At that time, consideration is given to whether a linear review or technology-assisted review is appropriate for the case.
If conducting a linear review, a review protocol will be prepared by our consultants to include the background of the case and complete instructions for the review. This protocol will reflect what the producing party has agreed it will produce, and will provide a detailed list of the criteria for the reviewers to apply in identifying responsiveness.
If it is determined that technology-assisted review is appropriate for the case, a thorough plan is developed to ensure the review is conducted in a defensible manner.
